Competition Discs

Skyhoundz has selected Hyperflite flying discs as the official flying discs of the Hyperflite Skyhoundz World Canine Disc Championship Series. At all Skyhoundz DiscDogathons, Skyhoundz XDC (Xtreme Distance Challenge) and at Skyhoundz Locals, Regional Qualifiers, Open Qualifiers, International Qualifiers, and the World Championship, competitors may, in their sole discretion, elect to use Hyperflite discs of any size or weight or the safe solid plastic canine discs of the manufacturer of their choice (with the exceptions shown below). Discs from different manufacturers and of different sizes and weights may also be mixed and matched at the discretion of each competitor.

MicroDog Division Competitors entering the MicroDog Division at any Hyperflite Skyhoundz competition, must use the K-10 Pup, (Competition Standard Pup, FrostBite Pup, Jawz Pup, or SofFlite Pup disc) or a similar or smaller-sized solid plastic canine disc made by another manufacturer.

Hyperflite Skyhoundz DiscDogathon Extreme Distance Due to national and world record consideration, the Hyperflite Competition Standard disc, Wham-O standard Fastback Frisbee disc, or Hero standard disc must be used.

Hyperflite Skyhoundz XDC (Xtreme Distance Challenge) Competitors may, in the Hyperflite Skyhoundz XDC, choose to throw any safe plastic disc that was designed specificially for canine use (no golf discs) as long as the chosen disc also meets the weight requirements of the Class in which the team is competing.
Light — (Less than 85 grams)
Classic — (90 grams to 110 grams)
Unlimited — (more than 110 grams)
