Competition Classes

Competitive Classes, vary from Division to Division, and apply only to Hyperflite Skyhoundz Regional, Open, and International Qualifiers.

Expert Anyone can enter.

Masters Dogs 9 years and older (as of the date of the competition entered). A canine registered in the Masters Class may not simultaneously entered in the Expert Class.

MicroDog A competing MicroDog canine must weigh less than 25 pounds or be 16 or fewer inches tall as measured from the ground to a point midway between the shoulder blades and hips as determined by Skyhoundz staff.

Novice A team composed of a canine and thrower that, either together or separately, have never finished higher than fifth place at any Hyperflite Skyhoundz Regional, Open Qualifier or International Qualifier in any of the following Divisions: Open Division, Sport Division, MicroDog Division, or Pairs Freestyle Division.

Pairs Freestyle This event features two handlers (of any sex) competing with one dog.

Youth Youngsters 14 years and younger (as of the date of the competition entered).

Team Teams must be male/female unless one of the team members is under 16 years of age in which case the team members can be of the same sex. In team class, throwers alternate throws.
